Generating Cooperation is an approach you can use to avoid resistance from an individual and encourage cooperation. This technique can be used with individuals on the lower end of the Lalemand Red Behavior Scale. A different technique should be used with those displaying destructive or dangerous behaviors. We will discuss how to avoid a “No” response by assessing when someone is ready, willing, and able to cooperate.
